ARE YOU LOOKING FOR FUN AND COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT?
Our Development Groups for U7’s-U9’s are held on Mondays from 5-6pm at West Riding County FA, followed by our U10’s on a Wednesday. Our Beginners and U6’s Development Groups are held on Thursday’s from 5-6pm at Football World, and U11’s/U12’s Development Group train on Saturday mornings 9-10am.
Our multitude of Development Groups aim to develop the skills of every player whilst creating a fun and competitive environment. The groups work in small numbers and pay great attention to detail with well thought drills to bring out the best for each individual. Our Coaches take their knowledge and experiences of being in professional academies and transfer these skills into our groups.
The players within our Development Groups are provided with a 6-week training syllabus which has a specific theme and structure to each session. This allows all players to improve every aspect of their game and takeaway key messages to aid their development. Additionally, at the end of training Block 2 and training Block 6, players are provided with a feedback form highlighting their strengths and any areas of improvement from their Coach.
Beginner & U6’s Junior Development Group
This is for our U4s & U5s who are just starting on their football journeys. Their love for football can be developed for the first time as they learn, understand, and experience it first-hand. During the session, basic ball mastery skills will be practiced while physical literacy is incorporated.
Our U6’s learn and understand the basics of the game whilst getting countless touches of a football. The group will take part in fun warm up games, numerous football competitive drills, ball mastery sessions and team matches.
U7-U12’s Development Groups
Our U7’s, U8’s, U9’s, U10’s, U11’s & U12’s build on the foundations laid from previous years and look to take their footballing skills to the next level. The training becomes slightly more intense but still a huge emphasis on fun and learning. Those players within our Development Groups will train with players within their own age group unless their development requires otherwise.
